A renovated rural holiday gite in the Deux Sevres department of South WEst France where we enjoy average temperatures of 20C. Three double bedrooms all ensuite sleep up to 10 people with 2 single folding beds and a double sofa bed.
It is just 30 minutes from the Grand Park of the Puy du Fou and 3 minutes fromthe Chateau of St Mesmin.
The theme of our gite is archery and we have 1.5 acres of woodland as well an acre of terraced garden which can be
used for field archery plus an outdoor tatget archery range of up to 45m. We also have an indoor range of 10m which we can use if the weather is inclement.
We have eqiupment and will give instruction to those who have never tried archery before or who wish to bruch up on their skills.
If you don't want to do archery - no problem! - we have an outdoor swimming pool. table tennis in the barn, badminton, various toys and board games, books, TV and DVD Wifi access etc. to make your holiday as active or relaxing as you wish.
Nearby there are numerous walks and cycle routes (we have two adult bicycles for hire), water activities, high ropes courses, shops, restaurants and cafes.
Local places of interest include various chateaux, The Grand Park of the Puy Du Fou (www.Puydufou.com), Futuroscope hands on Science Centre (www,Furturoscope.com), Marais Poitevin, (www.marais-poitevin), Pescalis centre for fishing (www.pescalis.com), La Rochelle and much, much more.
The gite has a fully equipped kitchen with large dining area, lounge, utility, private garden with furniture and barbecue.
The area is very quiet and tranquil and we are totally enclosed providing a secure environment for children.
